I commented: “The government should not be doing this to the tobacco companies. The tobacco companies are private institutions, the government should not be telling them how to run their business. Furthermore it is up to the consumer on whether or not he or she would like to smoke. Cabral’s disgusting words of “we won’t stop until we put an end to smoking here in the country” is clearly an imposition of her views to the general public. By what right do they have to tell an industry, they had no hand in making, to do as they’re told or else they’ll destroy them? This sounds like Nazi style social engineering to me.”
